Dr Verlumun Celestine Gever is a highly distinguished communication and digital media scholar, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Verlumun Journal of AI, Gender and Cultural Studies, a platform he founded to advance critical discourse at the intersection of technology and society.

He is an active member of the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE) and the International Crisis Management Association, UK. Beyond his empirical research, he is a certified member of the International Strategic Management Institute (ISMI) and a creative writer; his debut novel, The Corper, received an Excellence Award from ISMI. Beyond his academic and empirical research, Dr Gever is a prolific creative writer dedicated to social advocacy. His second novel, the Stolen Joy, which chronicles the herdsmen attacks in Benue State, has been officially approved by the Benue State Government as a compulsory text for Junior Secondary Schools.
